NR Barton are delighted to announce that over £200 has been raised for Wigan Youth Zone. The entire team all pulled together to raise the money for such a great local cause.
Jacqui Dutch from the administration team lead the collection for the Christmas presents and over £150 was raised. Jacqui personally went on a shopping spree in the town centre to ensure a suitable bounty of presents were bought for the Youth Zone.
Meanwhile Nona French from the payroll team lead the collection to raise over £50 for food items to help with the Christmas meal at the Youth Zone.
The presents and food are gifted to local children at the Wigan Youth Zone Christmas Meal which takes place at the Youth Zone and ensures that local families get a suitable Christmas dinner and presents. The Youth Zone are always on the look out for assistance from volunteers with the meal as well as further donations of food and presents, further details are below.
Paul Farrington, partner at NR Barton and trustee of Wigan Youth Zone, commented: “It is such a pleasure to see our team at NR Barton club together to raise this money for a very worthwhile local cause. We have a wonderful team of people at the firm and it is great for us to be able to help a local cause.
“Special thanks needs to go to both Jacqui and Nona for taking the time to arrange these collections as without their hard-work none of this would be possible.”
